How It Started

It was the year 2004, Mr. Sanjit Sardar and his wife Mrs. Puspa Sardar started a school. They named it Kantamari Ramkrishna Nursery K.G School  located at village: Kantamari, PS: Kultali, South 24 Parganas, Pin: 743349. They wanted to provide education to first generation learners. Initially, the children used to come to school and their parents would help the school with a nominal tuition fee. Gradually, this tuition fee contribution ended during the covid period. Slowly started dropout of these children. These children started becoming child laborers. They started working in brick kilns here and there.

Mr. and Mrs. Sardar then appealed to parents to send their children to school and they will provide education for free who can’t afford to pay the fee.
